Literally giving the indigenous people living in the world's remaining rain forest a voice by assisting them with the technologies and skills to document their predicaments.
Forest Voices makes regular field trips.
This is a virtual journey to show our visitors how they can publish their solidarity journeys to this platform. (we discourage you from flying unless absolutely necessary - if we want to do good, we want to do but good)
The initiatives the little kindman travels to are real, but the journey took place only in our imagination. In real life, you will probably have to add the initiatives you visit yourself. (precisely because we target small initiatives it is unlikely they are already here). But that's easy: just click "Add Initiative" and fill out the form. That struggling initiative will appear on the map, in the searches, on facebook, twitter, rss. And that increases the chances that a real kindman finds them and gives them the decisive help they need to become independent and sustainable.
Now it's up to you to share the real thing. You probably have your own website and we encourage you to have one, but sharing your journey here can have some benefits in terms of connecting. That is, if you want your journey to become an example for other travelers-for-the-good and the grassroots initiatives you visit more likely to connect with the skilled people they so desperately need - this is the place to share it.
In this exmple our kindman helps out environmental initiatives in a number of countries. Thank you for reading this and be inspired.
