ThreeLeftHands is a small and ambitious project by three Dutchmen who travel Africa in their old orange VW campervan. While doing so, they try to get aclear view of the state of Africa and aid being given there by NGO's. They always do this with their own trademark style, full of humour and critic wit. One way of experiencing this the best is, they figure, doing volunteering themself. They bring their knowledge and labour for not longer than a month, which they call 'Guerrilla Volunteering'! Currently, they're trying to reach South Africa, from where they'll continue north on the westcoast.

I met the 3 left hands in Leeuwarden while they were preparing their second Africa Journey. Their guerilla volunteering actions have already made good things happen at the grass roots and are an inspiration for many. Keep an eye on that orange van!
