We at Edulab are delighted to announce the launch of "India Cultural Exchange Program - 2012" for which we would appreciate your participation. 

This program looks at all aspects of India from understanding the development of Dharavi - world’s largest slum to one of the oldest stock exchange - Bombay Stock Exchange to a week of rural India Volunteering. 

 

Having envisaged the importance of such programs in today’s world, we have ensured that every candidate is able to live along the rich values and culture of India while understanding the energy and the opportunity that exist in this exciting and rapidly growing economy. 

 

To ascertain that we offer students the best value for money and scholarships to enable them to visit India to understand it’s culture while giving fellow Indians an opportunity to understand theirs, we have been successful in adding various sponsors on board.

 

The program would be held from 20th August to 4th September 2012. 

Details
People: 
We are looking for people who are willing to make a difference to the society and contribute positively to the growth of the society.
Commitment: 
A minimum of 6 to 8 hours will be the time commitment every day.
Skills: 
The Volunteer must be mature, committed, friendly, enthusiastic and hard working.
Type: 
Helping the staff in taking care of children. Playing with them,teaching English, action songs, crafts, sports or any other innovative methods to encourage children to create interest to learn and educate.
Money: 
The cost for participating in a volunteering activity in India would cost around 230 USD for 15 days. With this program we shall take care of all primary requirements of an intern like his housing and food.
