Layag, run by a small group of multimedia artists from Manila, is a voluntourism initiative set to promote the education of the arts to children in remote and rural areas of the Philippines.

Layag [lay'ag] is a tagalog word that means to sail. Get a chance to see the beauty of the Philippine seas while helping the local children discover their inner talent and creativity by teaching them basic skills in drawing, painting and photography.

The cost of a volunteering position ranges from PHP 2000 - PHP 5000 ($45-$115), depending on the number of the days of the workshop and the transportation expenses.
