Nicole Büttner

I am a German biologist living in Ecuador.
A few years ago I established together with my Ecuadorian husband a small conservation project in the Northwest of Ecuador, named Un poco del Chocó. Our nature reserve contains 15 hectares of montane rainforestand a biological field station. We live at the reserve fulltime and I work here as manager, researcher, teacher, supervisor and nature guide. I am passionate about nature and hope to convince a lot more people in the area of the importance of conservation.
