Uganda Rural Fund (URF), is a grassroots NGO founded in 2005 empowering AIDS orphans, underprivileged youths, and women in rural communities to fight the cycle of poverty through educational and sustainable development opportunities.

Registered as 501c(3)non-profit charity.

Volunteers needed for ungoing rural development efforts in the region.

Commitment: 
Minimum of 1 month (3 weeks)

Type: 
Volunteers help at any of our projects e.g. orphanage, childheaded family outreach, afterschool program, secondary school, crafts and arts center, women empowerment, adult literacy, business training, gardening, community outreach, health care outreach, youth camps, workshops, household hygiene improvement, and some construction and admin work.
Money: 
$300 for first and second month$250 for third month $200 for all subsquent monthsIncludes all meals and accomodation with host family.
