Baby Sarah's Home is an orphanage, hosting about 120 kids (both girls and boys) in the age group of 5-25 years of age, half of them being mentally challenged. BSH needs volunteers to help the organization as well as the children in improving processes and methods. BSH has been a partner of AMAIDI since 5 years and received a stream of volunteers from various European countries. The organization is therefore very comfortable receiving foreigners who want to work there for some time. Next to therapists, social workers and (special) teachers, BSH is open to work with volunteers who are more inclined to physical (hands on) labour, such as plumbing, painting and/or carpentry. And there's a garden and kitchen-garden to be maintained! There's a small primary school too, where children of neigboring villages sit alongside orphans (not mentally challenged), where teachers or volunteers can assist the teachers.
