About us: Our association consists of activists who are fighting for justice in different parts of Guatemela and Latino-America. Our methodology is on one hand based on “The Theatre of the Oppressed“, created by Augusto Boal during the dictatorship in Brazil, and on the other hand based on popular education and arts.

Our fundamental principle: From people, by people and for people.

People we are working with: women fighting against gender violence, rural and indigenous population, people suffering from HIV, migrants and disabled people.

What we do: long-term processes of empowerment, international processes of multiplication, participatory audits, training of instructors,  “teatro social“ in public places in order to create debates, organization of regional encounters, festivals and cultural spaces,…

Our partners: We are part of 2 Latino-Amercian networks, the Ma(g)dalenas Teatro de las Oprimidas and RelaTO Red latino americana de Teatro del Oprimido. Additionaly we have worked with ONUSIDA, Unicef, Hivos and various international and local institutions and groups.

We offer: Whenever it’s possible you are more than welcomed to be part of our different processes (e.g. participation in workshops of Theatre of the Oppressed, political and personal training, feminist activities...). It’s a unique opportunity to understand the reality of the different groups we are working with.
